Description: Cb 2008 Female Jaguar Carpet Python. This female is a good strong, properly fed yearling. She has an incredibly light base color and is very high contrast. Jaguar Carpets are an incomplete dominant mutation, and when bred to a non-jaguar carpet 50% of the offspring would be Jaguars. This was purchased as coming from the line marketed as being "Red Hypo Jaguars". This is not an West Papuan/Irian Jaya, or Jungle Carpet Cross. The Jaguar is also capable of producing a leucistic when bred to another Jaguar, unfortunately this gene has proven to be too weak to survive- but hopefully through further outcrossing this may be a viable perk to Jaguar Carpets.
